What is a Dreamkeeper?
A dreamkeeper is a fae creature that walks between the realms of reality and the dreamscape; they're usually around the size of fawn, males standing just slightly taller then females. These creatures are almost like bees, they feed on dreams but leave behind dreamdust that strengthens good dreams and essentially weakens the sense of fear or negative emotions in the dreamer's mind.

Dreamdust
Dreamdust is, in a nearly literal sense, pollen. When a dreamkeeper feeds on a dream its fur starts producing this dust-like substance so when the creature hops to the next dream, it leaves the dust behind to cultivate new dreams.

Wisps
When a dreamkeeper visits one person in particular enough, it gains a wisp that represents that person; this wisp will guide the dreamkeeper back to this person so that the creature can check up on them. A dreamkeeper can have as many as 4 wisps, either from one person or multiple.

Nightmare Tears
Dreamkeepers at their heart, are very protective creatures and the physical evidence of this nature comes in the form of inky black tears. These creatures will feed on nightmares if they happen upon them but it causes them intense distress, which results in nightmare tears. If they eat too many nightmares it can result in death or something they feel is much worse.

Other Info

- All dreamkeepers have a white mask where their face should be, do they actually have a face under there? Maybe, no one's looked and the creatures seem adamant about keeping it hidden.

- They're very expressive with their ears and they do speak most languages; they have their own language which uses whistles, chirps, trills and purring.

- When experiencing intense emotions (happiness, love, etc) small glowing pupils shine in their masks (usually shaped into hearts when love is involved); however, angry spawns red and a rather vicious looking mouth seems to tear open on their neck.

Gender Differences

-  Males typically have larger horns/antlers then females, though females do not always have them. There's no set rarity on them either, but multiple sets are not allowed.
             - Females can have larger horns/antlers, its just very rare

- A male's mane connects to his tail while a female's (if longer) usually ends around mid-back

- Reproductive habits are unknown at this time
